Sounds alarming doesn't it? Well, if you believe that blogs thrives in the quality of content it has, then my title will mislead you big time. I am just kidding with you, content is still king as far as blogs are concern but I want to ire-iterate some things that are very important rather than just adding contents.
People are just piling junks of articles that are literally crap and has no use at all. Their main motive is to just build a nice and presentable archive widget into their blogs so that people will recognize their site. This will get your blog bad exposure. People will not bother reading your posts because they probably read the same thing over and over again or it is just plain non sense.
What I am trying to say here is that content must be written responsibly and with passion. Do you think you can gain loyal readers by just adding articles that are not useful to them? People will just pass by your blog and will never ever type your domain address again because people are wise enough not to be fooled around. People are not conclusive, they don't justify that this blog is better than the other blog so you don't have to be so complacent nor too broad when writing an article. All you have to do is to be unique and write any article that maybe useful for your readers.
So to make your blog famous, you have to write quality contents. It could either be in volume or not, what matter most is that every article you make will result to your readers interests. Without it, your blog will just another regular blog in the blogosphere.
After building contents, you have to plan a strategic marketing campaign. Marketing your blog is the most difficult part but there are various ways to do so like optimizing your blog for the search engines, email marketing, article marketing, social network bookmarking and many more. If you learn the secret of blog marketing, you can truly say that content is not really the king, otherwise just an alternative way of blogging fundamentals.
